"I bought several pontoons for a project to bridge a river on my property. The idea was that in a flood the pontoons would raise the bridge above the flood waters and therefore save it. It was maybe ahead of its time in concept but in practice worked really well, so easy to assemble and it’s rugged construction has meant no maintenance so a win for me."
